Description

A prototype pollution flaw has been discovered in the js-yaml npm library. It's possible for an attacker to modify the prototype of the result of a parsed yaml document via prototype pollution (proto). All users who parse untrusted yaml documents may be impacted.

Mitigation

Mitigation for this issue is either not available or the currently available options do not meet the Red Hat Product Security criteria comprising ease of use and deployment, applicability to widespread installation base or stability.
