While trying to create a New Host in Red Hat Satellite 6.x it fails with "Failed to save: Name has already been taken, MAC address has already been taken"

Resolution

• The host was not associated to a particular organization, so confirm whether it is listed under Any Context.
• Delete the host which is listed and try to provision it again.
